Powerblanket’s 275-gallon DEF tote heater provides efficient heating solutions for warming and storing diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). These diesel exhaust fluid tank heaters operate at 120 volts, delivering up to 1440 watts of heating power with an internal preset thermostat. Our patented design eliminates hot and cold spots by applying uniform, full-coverage heat across the entire surface of the container. This ensures that DEF remains at the proper viscosity and meets specified thermal levels.

Thermal Rating Classes

275-gallon DEF storage heaters come in two different thermal rating classes: 

  • Powerblanket – designed for any definitive heating applications, surrounded by a rugged vinyl shell, safe to use in temperatures as low as -20 F
  • Powerblanket Xtreme – designed for harsh climates, safe to use in temperatures as low as -40 F

All 275-gallon DEF heaters feature an insulated, full-wrap design with cinch straps for a secure fit. They are water-resistant and compatible with both poly and steel drums. Every Powerblanket product is ETL certified to UL, CSA, and CE safety standards.
