Powerblanket’s 550-gallon tote heaters deliver cutting-edge solutions for freeze protection, chemical storage, and viscosity control. Designed for flexibility and ease of installation, these heaters effectively and evenly heat your IBC tote. Our patented design eliminates hot and cold spots by applying uniform, full-coverage heat across the entire container surface. This ensures that you can maintain consistent temperature control for IBC totes and keep materials at the correct viscosity. You can also equip each tote heater with either an adjustable or IoT smart thermostat, offering precise and easy-to-manage control.

Thermal Rating Classes:

Our 550-gallon tote heaters are available in two voltage options: 120 volts and 240 volts. You can choose between two thermal rating classes:

  • Powerblanket: Ideal for standard heating applications, this version comes with a rugged vinyl shell with a wraparound design and a removable top. It safely raises material temperatures up to 145°F and performs well in temperatures as low as -20°F.
  • Powerblanket Xtreme: Built for harsher climates, this model also features a rugged vinyl shell and wraparound design with a removable top. It raises material temperatures to 145°F and can be used in extreme conditions as low as -20°F.

Additionally, all of our 550-gallon tote heaters feature an insulated, water-resistant full-wrap design with cinch straps for a secure fit. These heaters are specifically designed to heat 550-gallon IBC totes and similar containers, making them ideal for industrial applications that require precision and safety.

TH550G: The 550 gallon (2082 liter) IBC tote heater from Powerblanket offers cutting-edge technology in a flexible, easy-to-install design that will effectively, evenly, and reliably heat your IBC tote, keeping the contents protected and at the optimal temperature. The TH550G comes with an adjustable thermostat, so you can control the temperature. The material of the heater is a durable and rugged vinyl shell and can be safely used in temperatures as low as -40 ºF. This revolutionary design provides uniform heat throughout the tote, thus eliminating hot and cold spots. Powerblanket products provide a maintenance free heating solution, which eliminates the headache of maintaining critical temperatures. If stored properly, chemicals and industrial products will last longer and be more effective. In turn, this saves time, hassle, and money. It is also ETL certified to UL & CSA safety standards.
